Description: This procurement is for the design and development of a hardware modification for the Mk4A reentry vehicle for the Trident Missile System to improve its accuracy. It requires modifications to the existing Missile System Hardware. This contract will be awarded to Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (LMSSC), Sunnyvale, CA. As the original design contractor and builder of the first Enhanced Effectiveness technology concept demonstration re-entry body, LMSSC has the unique knowledge of the hardware?s design and performance that is essential for successful execution of this effort.
