- NSN: 2840-01-190-6884PR P/N: 9505M12G02 Engineering Data List: Revision 09 dated 23 August 2002. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Noun: Primary Seal. Item Description: The seal is a component of the exhaust nozzle assembly. Material consists of Rene? 41. Dimensions are as follows: .018 inches minimum, .021 inches maximum thick; 13.35 inches minimum and 13.39 maximum long; 5.18 inches minimum and 5.22 inches maximum wide. Applicable to: F110 Engine. Destination: N34713 Delivery: On or Before November 2003 Best Estimated Qty: 278 Quantity can change before award. Quantity ranges will be solicited. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 16 Oct 2002. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 18 Nov 2002. The anticipated award date will be 27 December 2002. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
