- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a Polycom, Inc. video conferencing system. Only Polycom equipment is acceptable in order to be compatible with other sites where communication is required. The s ystem shall consist of: 2 ea VS4000 with PRI T1 interface (2200-22323-001); 2 ea PRI T1 interface (2215-09180-001); 4 ea EVI D-30 NTSC Camera (1624-10307-001); 2 ea Via Video Camera (2200-10070-001); 2 ea View Station MP (2200-08666-001); 1 ea ADTRAN NT-1 (2200-08406-004; 2 ea 50? NEC Plasma Sync Monitor 50MP2 (PX-50XM2A); 1 ea 42? NEC Plasma Monitor (PX-42VM3A); 2 set twin speakers (PX-50XM1U-S1); 1 ea tilt wall mount. You may quote other brand monitors as long as they are size and performance equals. If you quote a different brand monitor, you must provide the name, model number and specifications. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 dated 29 Jul 02. This requ irement is solicited under full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 423440 with a size standard of 100 employees. There is one contract line item (0001) for a quantity of 1. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. If you do not accept VISA, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the technically acceptable, low price proposal . You shall submit commercially available literature on your unit that demonstrates that all of the above capabilities are met. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232.33, 52.232-36).
