- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consti tutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-09)(30 August 02) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) current to DCN 20020730 edition. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Class ification Code (SIC) is 3589 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333319 with a size standard of 500 employees. Each Offeror shall provide a listing of manufacturer specifications on equipment proposed t o meet the above requirements for technical review and acceptance by the Government. All quotes shall be clearly marked with the solicitation number and emailed to Pamela.nevels@yuma.army.mil or fax (928) 328-6849 no later than 4:30 PM Mountain Standard T ime on 28 September 2002. The Government will award a contract resulting from this CSS to the responsible Offeror whose proposal conforming to this CSS will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government will evaluate the technical specifications , past performance and price to determine the successful Offeror. The Offeror shall provide past performance on at least three other contracts or customers for the same or similar items in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial It ems. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 242.212-7001 cited below, or rejects the terms and conditions of this CSS may be excluded from consideration.
