Description

NA Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Contracting Command ? Washington (DCC-W) intends to award a sole source contract to AT&T Government Solutions, Inc., 1800 Gallows Road, Vienna, VA 22182 for the acquisition of IT Technical Support Services to provide analysis, design, development, verification and validation, training, and supporting functions during the completion of Phase Four of the Model Building and Implementation Period of the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, Strength Management Systems Redesign (SMSR). Phases One through Three have been completed. The Contractor must have an in-depth knowledge of the development of the Active Army Strength Forecaster (A2SF) models under the SMSR ef fort. The length of the contract is one base year with two option years. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Note 22. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. However, al l interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government . Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning the solicitation. Reques ts will be in writing; no telephone calls will be accepted.
