Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspections Service (APHIS), Plant and Protection Quarantine (PPQ), Frederick, MD, intends to procure the following: 42 Lecia Microscopes (Compound Advanced, 4x,10x,40x,100x, E2 achromatic objectives, abbe condenser); 8 Lecia Zoom 2000 Stereomicroscopes (10.5x-45x magnification, 15x wide field eyepieces with manual); 42 Bulbs (20W, 12V Tungsten Halogen Lamps); 8 Bulbs (15W Tungsten Bulbs, for Zoom 2000 transmitted illumination, 120V); 8 Bulbs(15W Halogen Replacement Bulb, 6V Zoom 2000 Reflected Illumination), Brand Name or Equal. NAICS 334516 Code . This is a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09.
