- This proposed acquistion is for a commercial service in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number: F33630-02-R-0020 will be issued on, or around August 12, 2002. This solicitation will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06, and is being issued pursuant to FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program on an unrestricted basis. FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns is applicable. The North American Industry Classification System NAICS) code is 562219; the Size Standard is $10.0 Million. The Youngstown Air Reserve Station has a requirement for a contractor to furnish refuse and recycling services to include all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, disposal, and recycling of refuse from the 910th Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Vienna, Ohio, 44473-5925. The anticipated period of performance is for basic year 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003 plus four additional one-year options. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by this agency. The government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantages to the government. Therefore, the offerors initial proposal should contain the offerors best terms from a cost or price and technical standpoint. Only written proposals will be accepted and are due no later than 4:00 PM EST on 31 August 2002 at the 910 LG/LGC BLDG 504, ATTN Louis Fossesca Jr., Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King Graves Rd-Unit 25, Vienna, Ohio 44473-5925. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Pursuant to FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration requires contractors be registered in the CCR Database. Failure to register will disqualify a contractor from award should the contract be selected and not registered. Contractors may register online at http://www.ccr.gov. All bidders are responsible for monitoring the EPS site at http://www.eps.gov for the solicitation package and other pertinent information.
