This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 02 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2002. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL 30 SEPTEMBER 02. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation, #F33CES21570300. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 Notice: This acquisition is 100 % small business set-aside for business concerns and is under NAICS code 334516, not to exceed 500 employees. Contractor shall submit a quotation on the following items as BRAND NAME ONLY for Bullard. No substitute or equal products will be considered. Item description: 1. (Qty 1) Thermal Imager MX series, MFG: Bullard, PN: bullardmx; 2. (Qty1) Transmitter Command Kit, MFG: Bullard, PN: mxtranscommand; 3. (Qty 1) Truck Mount Charging System MFG: Bullard, PN: truckmnt.Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor. Registration at: www.ccr2000.com/. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, (OCT 2000) is incorporated by reference. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCB, 303 Avenue J Bldg 302 Altus, AFB OK 73523-5123 at or before 1630 (4:30 P.M.) CST, 26 Sept 02. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors. Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (JULY 2002), with quote. An electronic version is available for download. FAR clause 52.212-4 (FEB 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-4(c) is hereby tailored as follows: Changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties with the exception of administrative changes (such as changes in paying office, appropriation data, etc) which may be changed unilaterally by the Government, FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (MAY 2002) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
