Description

Description of Services: Contractor shall provide all personnel, management and supervision, supplies, equipment, and services, except specified as Government Furnished in the Statement of Work, necessary to perform Mess Attendant Services at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Contractor will also be responsible for provide contingency cooks and attendants during contingency operations. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12, utilizing Commercial Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Best Value (Technically Acceptable, Performance/Price Tradeoff (PPT)) procedures will be used. The contract period will be for a basic period and up to six (6) one year options. This acquisition is a competitive 8(a) set aside with concerns having a bona fide place of business as of the date of this synopsis within Region IV. Any concern submitting an offer under a teaming or partnering agreement including Joint Venture Agreements must submit their Small Business Administration approval documentation with their proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 722310, with a size standard of $17.5 mil. The government anticipates issuing a solicitation package on or about 31 October 2002. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. Interested parties may view and download the solicitation from FedBizOpps web page at www.eps.gov. The specific closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must register in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
