Description
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to BioVision Technologies, Inc., Exton, PA 19341, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for one (1) each of the following: #IPL-WIN IPLab for Windows v 3.5 Image Processing & Analysis Software; #MultiProbe-WIN Multi-color fluorescence and FISH image analysis; #40-CARV2-200-001 CARV Module, Product Mounting Plate, Binocular Tube and Extension Viewing Arm; #Oly Hg Lamp 100w Hg Olympus lamp house; #91015 Zeiss style filter cubes; #Filters 86000 mod (D/F/TR) and 86002 (CFP/YFP); #LUDL FW Sys MAC 5000 system; Installation and Training on all components; #Z Upgrade Focus drive upgrade to existing MAC 5000. This system is the only confocal microscope which uses a standard microscope HBO 100 W or Xenon 175 W as an illumination source which will allow fluorescence excitation between 360 nm and 900 nm. This system is the only spinning disk fluorescence confocal which allows the user to quickly switch from confocal to wide-field viewing/recording. This system requires no computer control, so the system can be attached to microscopes being driven by 3rd party software. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with BioVision Technologies. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500EM.. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. There is no solicitation package available.
