Description
The Eastern Region, R-9, of the USDA, Forest Service, plans to award one or more contracts for Environmental Engineering Services under an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract format. It is anticipated that the award(s) will be for one Base Year and four Option Years. Work may include a variety of professional and technical services including, but not necessarily limited to environmental science and engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, water supply and wastewater treatment, geology, hydrogeology, biology, botany, toxicology, and public affairs for projects involving hazardous materials or other substances that could endanger human health or the environment. Potential project locations within the Eastern Region include Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The project is being advertised without restriction, so any qualified and interested party may participate. There will be a nonmandatory teleconference held on March 5, 2002, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, to address general concerns and questions. Interested parties may call in on 888-282-8353 and reference the pass code Environmental Engineering and the Leader as Ms. Saint Louis. Interested sources should respond in writing by submitting a S.F. 254 and S.F. 255 addressing the following criteria: 1) Professional Qualifications, 2) Specialized Experience and Competence, 3) Location, 4) Capacity to Perform, 5) Past Performance, 6) Availability of Computer-Assisted Services, and 7) Previous Forest Service Work. All documents should be submitted in triplicate no later than March 25, 2002, to the Monongahela National Forest; Attn: Mary E. Saint Louis; 200 Sycamore Street; Elkins, West Virginia 26241.
