Description

Sandstone Arch Repair - Offers are being sought for the repair of the Sandstone Arch which is located at M.P. 2.5 on Road 4620 (Sandstone Creek) on the Clackamas River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Clackamas County, Oregon. Work will consist of Traffic Control, Construction Staking, Excavation of fill around the headwall, arch, and Road Prism, Minor Clearing, removing damaged headwall, arch and footings sections, removing unsuitable material and hauling to a disposal site, minor structural excavation, then rebuilding road prism, Pit Run, Reusing Excavated Material, Riprap, processing aggregate, asphalt work, placing bedding material, Framing, Concrete Footings, Installing Structural Plate Arch for damaged sections, keying in Machine-Placed Riprap around fill slope, headwall and stream channel, Minor Stream Channel Work, placing structural concrete, pressure grouting around headwall, stream channel and foundation, mobilizing of equipment, minor Quarry Development, Erosion and Pollution Control, Seed, Fertilize and Mulch disturbed areas. Remove and haul off old damaged arch sections from Forest Service Land on the Mt. Hood National Forest. Estimated price range for project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. On site performance required between July 15 and August 31, 2003.
