Description

Project to Replace Chiller, Power Production Training, Building 2010, Sheppard AFB, Project (VNVP 950005) will be issued in the near future. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary plant, labor and materials to repair the HVAC system, demolition of existing and installation of new steel equipment platforms, catwalk and access ladder in the attic space, replacement of certain ceilings, the installation of new ceilings and other miscellaneous renovation and repair work at Building 2010. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the occupants, the Civil Engineering contract inspector, and the Contracting Officer. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 120 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is being issued for FULL and OPEN competition. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 235110, with a size standard of 12 million dollars. ATTENTION CONTRACTORS: Funds are not currently available for this solicitation. Award of a contract as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment of this contract may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the contracting officer. The contracting officer will confirm availability of funds in writing to the contractor upon award of contract. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract.
