- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Fairton, New Jersey, intends to issue a solicitation, FRQ20403-0024-02, for Barber Vocational Training Services. The contractor must have the appropriate educational qualifications, experience, and licensure commensurate with the job responsibilities. The contractor will provide a training program of professionally accepted teaching methodologies in barbering skills which will consist of both classroom and practical training. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated requirements will be 52 four (4) hour sessions per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 2, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website http://fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is October 16, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
