Description

NA The Army requires a firm fixed price construction contract to REPLACE BOILER, BUILDING 19225, FORT STEWART, GEOPRGIA. Work consist of but is not limited to the following: (1) Remove old boiler and install new oil fired steam boiler and 30 gallon condensa te / feed water system; (2) Boiler shall be low pressure steam (15 lb) fire tube type. Boiler horsepower shall be 30 and have a capacity of 1100 mbh; (3) Boiler shall be designed to operate on # 2 Oil; (4) Line voltage shall be 208/230 single phase for bo iler and 115 volt for condensate/feedwater system and controls. Contractor shall verify voltage; (5) Standard steam trim on boiler; (6) Feed water system shall have factory installed trim; and (7) Specifications are for a 30 HP Hurst ?400? series Scotch Bo iler and 30 gallon Simplex Condensate/Feed Water System. SIC Code is 1542, NAICS code is 23332 and the size standard $28,500,000.00. Performance time is 60 calendar days. Project is UNRESTRICTED. All responsible businesses may submit a proposal that wi ll be considered. Magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The anticipated issued date for this solicitation 17 October 2002.
