The approved source is: Lok Corporation (97393), and Gener al Electric Company (99207). This item must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of Dod-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufactur ing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/ and loo king under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements.
