Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a sole source purchase order for an extended warranty agreement to Q-Matic Corporation, 308 Ridgefield Court, Asheville, NC 28806. This agreement will provide coverage for the proprietary Q-Matic Queue Management System and Q-Matic equipment at 123 IRS customer Taxpayer Assistance Centers across the country. The warranty has a one-year performance period and that will cover replacement of defective Q-Matic equipment, labor, and materials necessary to repair and replace defective parts. The warranty will also cover the repair of existing system software when bugs or glitches occur. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by October 10, 2002. All quotes shall include FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone numbers), GSA Contract Number, if applicable, business size and payment terms. No soliciation will be issued, therefore, such requests for solicitations will be considered non-responsive. All questions must be submitted in writing.
