- NAICS Code: 541620 NAICS Code: 541620 The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) intends to award a sole source, fixed price purchase order to ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller, Inc for "Support Activities for the Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances's (OPPTS), Series 850 Ecological Effects Test Guidelines, and Algal Toxicity Data Analysis. This procurement will provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances's (OPPTS) with technical support relating to its Harmonized Series 850 Ecological Effects Test Guidelines, including the analysis of Algal Toxicity Data. These guidelines have been developed for use in the testing of pesticides and toxic substances, and the development of test data that must be submitted to the Agency for review under Federal regulations. Contractor assistance will be procured via the GSA Environmental Services Schedule. This work can be accomplished within the scope of SIN 899-1 (Environmental Planning Services & Documentation). ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller, Inc. is a unique source of information on this specialized subject. Developing alternate sources would incur costs exceeding the benefits of competition. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Please refer to numbered note 22. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
