Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency intends to award a sole source procurement to Marshall & Swift for the following software: Commercial/Agricultural Estimator and Residential Estimator. This software will - Generate accurate estimates for all types of barns and various structures for swine, poultry, sheep, and dairy - Uncover equipment costs for free stall barns, dairy, stockyard/feedlot , swine, equestrian, poultry, sheep, turkey, grain elevator and storage greenhouses - Access costs for yard improvements including fencing and grates, transfer lanes, corrals, pens and stalls, dairy equipment and more - Calculate costs for single, double, triple, and quad-wide manufactured housing. Includes adjustments for skirting, steps, etc. - Agriculture data made available for entire county and territories - Keep costs accurate with free quarterly updates throughout the year - estimate with the relational database capability - Process multiple estimates simultaneously to calculate, print, import, export, delete and archive estimates - Provide help for all program functions, occupancies and construction components - Have all the calculations performed automatically - Get local cost when Zip Code or Canadian Postal Codes are entered - Export reports to other applications, such as Excel, Microsoft, Word and others - Search for estimates using key data fields - Estimate building costs using the Square Foot method - Enter minimal pieces of information for a complete cost estimate - divide buildings into unlimited sections for greater estimating precision - Enter an unlimited number of occupancies, classes, ranks and story heights per section - Save an unlimited number of estimates with the relational database capability - Calculate overall assessment percentages, separate building and land assessment percentages, and the rounding of assessed value in the assessor version - Trend or index costs to bring them up to date or backwards to an historical date - process multiple estimates simultaneously, calculate, print, import to, export from, delete, and archive estimates - Calculate overall depreciation automatically according to age, occupancy, rank and construction class, or enter your own depreciation - Depreciate individual construction items separately - Be CCE compliant - Be able to operate on agency hardware - Be either available on the web or in the process of moving toward the web - Estimate with complete confidence residential replacement costs for single family and low-rise multi-family residences, as well as, townhouses and duplexes - Generate a customized report format, quickly and easily, that meets your specific needs - Produce cover letters that contain information from the reports developed - Use the built-in HELP facility - Practice developing cost estimates with a built-in demo and easy-to-use tutorials - Localize costs to your geographical area just by entering z Zip Code - Procedure Manual to provide instructions and examples in using the program, utilizing commands and generating reports - Field Form Reference Manual containing line-by-line instructions for completing form - Installation, Customization and Utility Manual including installation, customization and program maintenance instructions - Demo and Tutorial Manual containing step-by-step instructions for developing cost estimates using the Square Foot Approach.
