Description

MODIFICATION (ANTICIPATED WORK START DATE IS MAY 1, 2003). The Forest Service has a need for field and data entry phases of a forest inventory in accordance with Common Stand Examination (CSE, Version 1.4.2, July 2001) protocols utilized for loading the data into the Field Sampled Vegetation (FSVeg) database. The project areas are located on the Kaibab National Forest on the North Kaibab Ranger District approximately 40 miles south of Fredonia, Arizona. There are approximately 8,681 sample acres in Item #1Apache Trout, and approximately 5,470 sample acres in Item #2 MIS. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals necessary to conduct stand examinations in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained in RFQ R3-WZ-03-04 any resultant contract. The project will be advertised as a written quotation using best value to determine award. Solicitation will be available on or about October 18, 2002 with responses due about November 18, 2002. It is anticipated work will begin about May 1, 2003. The project has 132 calendar days of contract time. NAICS code is 115310. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered.
