- Description
- Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to replace the heating and ventilating (H&V) system at the roof of the Gym Building at U.S. Coast Guard Station Neah Bay. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Remove and dispose of all existing ductwork up to point of disconnection as indicated. B. Disconnect electrical power supply and controls of the existing electric duct heater. Leave conductors and conduit in place. Remove and dispose of electric duct heater. C. Disconnect electrical power supply and controls of the existing supply fan. Leave conductors and conduit in place. Remove and dispose of existing supply fan, disconnect switch and vibration isolators. D. Remove and dispose of existing duct supports and fill pitch pockets with plastic cement or similar fill materials of existing. E. Provide new ductwork; backdraft damper; return grille; insulation; supports and roof-mounted air handling unit with 5 KW electric heater, 1300 CFM supply fan with ? HP electric motor, filter section and damper section. F. Provide new electrical disconnect switch, electrical fan contactors and heater contactors. Re-use existing power supply and integrate existing heating controls to new heater and supply fan. See reference drawings # 332.8005 Sheets 30 and 31. G. Instruction to Government Personnel: Furnish the services of a competent instructor to give full instruction to designated Government personnel in the adjustment, operation, and maintenance; including pertinent safety requirements, of the new H&V system. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 40 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable NAICS code is 238220. Small Business size standard is $12.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered.
