- Description
- NAICS Code: 541511 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of the Comptroller (OC) has contracted with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to provide system integration support and technical expertise to assist in transforming human resource, payroll, timekeeping and labor distribution automated systems and business processes. The Office of Human Resources & Organizational Services (OHROS) has contracted with PeopleSoft Consulting (PSC) for integration support. These activities are for the implementation of a suite of PeopleSoft Federal commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications, including Human Resource, Payroll, Time and Labor (HR/PTL) applications. EPA's implementation of the already existing HR system --HRPRO and the new PTL will support OC and OHROS in meeting business needs for a collaborative, flexible HR/PTL system that is expandable to meet future cross-servicing requirements. The integrated system will be a key information technology initiative in bringing about changes at EPA in HR/PTL processes. This project will be managed by the Integrated Project Team (IPT) which leads strategic project management decisions, configuration management (CM), system development, partnership deployment activities with the regional offices and the overall integrated system architecture. The system will be implemented throughout the Agency over the next year, replacing multiple systems that support personnel, payroll, time and attendance, and labor distribution operations. The current master schedule is to conduct a pilot in July 2003 and deploy agency-wide in October 2003.
