Description

SSA-OPLM-1406: Dis-Assemble, Relocate and Re-Assemble Eleven (11) Lektrievers. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has eleven (11) Lektrievers located in the West High Rise Building at its headquarters in Baltimore, MD. The requirement is to dis-assemble, relocate and re-assemble the Lektrievers on the fourth floor of the Annex Building also located in Baltimore. Several of the units are over five (5) years old and are in poor condition. SSA intends to negotiate and award a contract/order for the necessary personnel, equipment and resources to perform the required tasks in a manner such that all 11 units are relocated no later than October 31, 2002. SSA intends to negotiate with the F. A. O'TOOLE Company, 150 Lakefront Drive, Hunt Valley, MD 21030 for the required services. The provider must be able to provide all required personnel and equipment necessary to perform the described tasks. Vendor will assume all liability for damage to the equipment and buildings - the Annex was just reopened after renovations. Any responsible Small Business who believes it has the necessary staff and resources to provide the described services should submit a complete capability statement (including documentation clearly demonstrating their capabilities which should reference prior experience in relocating Lektrievers) to the Contracting Officer (at the address above) within seven (7) business days from the date of this notice. This is Not a request for proposals. SSA will not respond to, nor pay for requests for solicitations.
