Item 0001 NSN: 2945-00-757-8264RV P/N: 489114, SIZE/DIMENSION/MATERIAL Approx size 10 long by 8 wide by 8 inches high. Magnesium Alloy. FUNCTION: Housing for main oil screen and oil pressure relief valve. Hollow with various threaded and plain openings. Qty range of 30 max, 24 med, and 12 min EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: Dec 2003, qty of 12, 24, or 30 EA. The approximate issue/response date will be 21 Oct. 2002. This item is competitive. Data package will be provided and First Article requirements will apply. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. The anticipated award date is 31 December 2002. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with United Technologies Corp.
