- REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 16,100 rentable square feet yielding 14,000 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Gainesville, Florida. Space must be located on 2nd floor or above in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Gainesville, Florida within the following delineated areas: WEST: Interstate 75, SOUTH: Williston Road (State Road 121), NORTH: State Road 232, EAST: Waldo Road (State Road 24). REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy on August 1, 2003. The following list contains, but is not limited to, space performance specifications for this lease procurement: 1) Twenty (20) inside, secured, reserved parking spaces are required. Visitor parking shall meet local building codes. 2) Office space must be located on the second floor or higher. 3) Set back from roadway and other property boundaries by at least 100 feet. 4) Security fencing will be required. Security fencing shall be 10 feet high. LEASE TERM: Term is 15 years, 10 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 10 years.
