Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Mitretek Systems, 3150 Fairview Park Drive South, Falls Church, VA 22042-4519 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The SEC requires level 5 development of the user requirements and data model to implement the required functionality in EDGARLink and EDGAR Workstation screens. Mitretek recently completed detailed requirements analysis for high-level functional requirements for EDGAR applications. Mitretek is a not-for-profit company that undertakes system engineering and analyses and conducts research to create technological solutions and scientific knowledge that strengthen the nation in key areas of public interest. Because of the nature of the follow-on work resulting from award of the Mitretek contract, the use of for-profit, commercial contractors is inappropriate.
