Description
NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a Two-Phase Firm fixed-price contract for the renovation of the Headquarters Building (Building 34) at Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR), Richmond, Virginia. This work includes but is not limited to the demo lition and construction of the interior of the facility and removal of asbestos materials and lead-based paint, installation of new electrical, plumbing, telecommunication, fire protection, and HVAC systems. Provide new interior partition walls, doors, an d finishes and install new elevator for accessibility. Patch and repair existing mortar joints and exterior brickwork. The new facility shall be ADA compliant. Requirements for the technical Source Selection criteria factors are as follows: PHASE ONE ( 1) Corporate Experience; (2) Past Performance, Construction; (3) Technical Approach; (4) Small Business Subcontracting Effort. PHASE TWO ? Price Proposals. A maximum of five offerors selected during PHASE ONE will advance to PHASE TWO. Offerors will be evaluated on both technical proposal and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price; and to award to the propos er submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED THAT AN AWARD MAY BE MADE IN PHASE TWO WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. The receipt date for t echnical proposals for PHASE ONE is November 22, 2002. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 365 calendar days. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Contractors may view and/or download this project on or after October 23, 2003 from this website: www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/Asp/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com.
