- NA A firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for inspection services in connection with performance of dredging, disposal area management, dike construction, collection and analysis of samples, other general construction, and do cumentation, evaluation and analysis of records associated with dredging activities as identified in task orders on various projects located within the boundaries of the Mobile District. This will be a best value procurement with a base year and four (4) one year options. The NAICS Code is 541990 with a size standard of $6,000,000.00. The acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to re vert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government?s best interest. Therefore, Offerors, are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation/specifications at the following Internet site: http: //www.sam.usace.army.mil/ct. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED request will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing list. Registration must include the firm?s physical address, telephone, a valid fax number and a point of contact. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet. Therefore, Offerors who have registered are required to review the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. The Reque st for Proposal will be available for download on or about 11 October 2002 with a closing date of on or about 12 November 2002. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
