- ** AMENDMENT 0002 HAS BEEN ISSUED. PLEASE OBTAIN AMENDMENT FROM THE PROCUREMENT GATEWAY. OPENING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OCT. 22, 2002. ** The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of a variety of Quick Release Pins. Solicitation SP0560-02-R-0373 is being issued to support this initiative for various 5315 Quick Release Pins. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 170 core items, with a list of up to 1849 additional NSNs to be evaluated and added as requirements arise. The listing of core and potential adds (universe) is attached. Award will be by lot. Prospective contractors should have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. Subject solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with the resultant contract being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years with three (3) one-year options. This will be a best value source selection acquisition in which technical merit is considered more important than price. Solicitation SP0560-02-R-0373 is expected to be issued on July 22, 2002, with an expected closing date of August 22, 2002. Solicitation may not become available until the solicitation issue date.
