Description

This solicitation seeks the services for producing an approximate combined volume of 167,000 containerized forest conifer seedlings for the Mt. Hood and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests during the calendar year 2003 growing season. Approximately 20M are to be produced in the Ventblock 112/105, 116M in the Ventblock 91/130, and 31M in the Ray Leach Super Cell. The species will include: Ponderosa pine (74M), Douglas-fir (28M), Western white pine (26M), Western larch (18M), Lodgepole pine (7M), Noble fir (7M), Englemann spruce (5M), Western red cedar (2M) and Mountain hemlock (less than 1M). The Government's Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Work is expected to start in November 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. Documents will be available at this website only on approximately October 11, 2002.
