Description
NA U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ, Intends to issue Basic Ordering Agreements for a period of three years for asbestos abatement and lead-based paint removal services at Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma Arizona. In carrying out work assignments under th is BOA, the contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other requirements necessary for, or incidental to, the performance of abatement and removal services as described by individual requirement. The se rvices include, but are not limited to: a) Removal of asbestos containing exterior siding, interior floor tile and windows containing lead based paint and possibly asbestos containing glazing compound. b) Removal of asbestos containing fireproofing within ceilings above bathrooms. c) Removal of asbestos containing exterior siding and windows containing lead based paint and possibly asbestos containing glazing compound. The Contracting Officer (CO) will compete individual requirements with the pre-qualified BOA holders in accordance with the general requirements in the existing BOA Statement of Work. Estimated value of work to be competed among the BOA holders is total $300,000.00 over the three-year period. Anyone interested in obtaining a BOA to compete on future asbestos abatement and lead-based paint removal requirements must obtain and complete all requirements of the BOA package. The BOA package can be accessed via the Internet at http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/rfp.html on or about 25 October 2 002. This action is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562910 and the size standard $12 million applies. BOA ordering period will be from date of award for three years. All successful awarders m ust have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/. It is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. Due date for receipt of proposals is November 25, 2002, 4:30 p.m., MST.
