Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue Request for Quotations (RFQ) TIRMS-02-Q-00247 for the maintenance, testing and repair service of the Security Entrance Portals at the Federal Buildings in Kansas City, Missouri. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, training to IRS technicians, equipment, repair parts, replacement parts, test and repair equipment, tools and transportation to provide maintenance, test and repair services for all Security Entrance Portals at the Federal Buildings at 2306 East 95th Terrace and 1500 East Bannister Building 41, Kansas City, Missouri which will provide a level of maintenance and technician response necessary for maximum operational use of the Security Entrance Portals. The Security Entrance Portals are specifically Centurion-Sentinel or Protector Models. The Contractor shall provide six (6) maintenance trips to Kansas City in the months of October, January, March, April, June and August. Each trip should not last more than ten (10) days. Any additional trips requested by the IRS will be paid on a per-trip basis. Contractor shall provide a technician by telephone Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm central standard time for technical service. The NAICS code is 235920. The term of the contract will be for the base year period commencing October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003, and four (4) one-year renewal options, through September 30, 2007.
