The position(s) will coordinate and service the foreign medical examination program for employees and their families assigned to overseas posts of duty. Foreign medical examinations include pre-employment, home leave and separation examinations for employees and their family members. They will also coordinate with the Department of State (DOS), Foreign Administrative Support Unit (OFA), Special Agent Assignment Unit (HPRA), Field Staffing Unit (HPRF), and DEA?s Transportation and Relocation Unit (FAPT) regarding the status of overseas clearances and financial claims for employees. This program requires knowledge of the DOS regulations and preparation of the medical examination packages in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The employee will track the issuance of the examination packages to the employee to ensure timely completion of the medical examination by the employee. Coordination with DOS is also needed to ensure timely receipt of the medical clearance from DOS. The HPMH computerized medical examination tracking system, HUMIS, will then be updated with the employee?s clearance information and the clearance form filed in the employee?s medical file.
