Description

Notice of Contract Action. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award on a sole source basis an annual maintenance and technical support contract for an existing PeopleSoft Student Administration System at the Air Force Officer Accessions and Training Schools, Maxwell AFB, AL for a one year period, 04 Nov 2002 through 03 Nov 2003. The government proposes to award to PeopleSoft USA, Inc, 6903 Rockledge Drive, Two Democracy Center, Suite 1100, Bethesada, MD 20817. No request for proposals will be issued. This is anticipated to be a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm fixed-price contract. If there are other firms which can provide maintenance and technical support to include upgrades, fixes, and enhancements to proprietary software codes in this PeopleSoft Student Administration 18,000 concurrent user perpetual software system, including 24 hour a day/ 7 days a week telephone trouble-shooting support, technical documentation, and instructional classes, a response to this notice must be received before 2:00PM (Central Standard Time) on 23 Oct 2002. If no responses are received by this date and time, a sole source contract with PeopleSoft USA, Inc. will be pursued. The POC for this notice is Frank Spencer.
