- (i) This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference numbers are FE440722700285, FE440722700274, and FE440722700274 and the solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. (iv) This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339994 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. (v) The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov/. (vi) This synopsis/solicitation is for: (1) Sweepster Model 3100 truck mounted sweeper attachment with quick attach system which matches Oshkosh truck with all hoses, fittings and installation instructions. 18-feet wide, 46-inch diameter brush head. Item DOES NOT have the Airblast System. Quantity required is 1. (2) Sweepster Wire Wafer replacement set for snow brooms, Part #01-0008. 46- inch diameter, contains 114 wire wafers, no spacers included. Quantity required is 1 set. (3) Sweepster Poly Brooms, Part #01-0528. Sweepster set sections, 18-feet wide, 46-inch diameter, poly including spacer rings to replace sweepster snow brooms. Quantity required is 3 complete sets. (vii) The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addendum to 52.212-1: The provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM. (viii) The FAR provision 52-212-2, Evaluation? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Price. The clauses at 52.212-5, subparagraph (b)(5), (b)(11), (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(25), (c)(1) and (c)(2) are applicable. (ix) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies to this acquisition. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov/.
