Description

NA This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) being released by the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) on behalf of the Information Technology Laboratory, CADD/GIS Technology Center. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to develop a follow-on vehicle(s) for the IM/FCAD2 contracts. That requirement is yet to be fully developed, but will at a minimum require upgrades and support for the existing installed base, including support services. A Statement of Objectives is available on th e Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONT RACT. RESPONSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS PROPOSALS NOR WILL ANY AWARD BE MADE AS A RESULT OF THIS SYNOPSIS. All information contained in the RFI is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. FAR clause 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) is incorporated by reference into this RFI, with the following fill-in in paragraph c: ?obtain information regarding acquisition support in the areas of CADD, GIS, FM and r elated technologies by the CADD/GIC Technology Center?. NO PROPRIETARY DATA SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI. ANY SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE PUBLIC INFORMATION AND MAY BE HANDLED BY NON-GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL. VCCO will acknowledge r eceipt of information submitted in response to this RFI but will not provide feedback to the originating party. Please provide responses electronically with attached WORD files to: cadd.gis.rfi@mvk02.usace.army.mil PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES TO THIS RFI BY 4:00 P.M. CST 8 NOV 2002.
