- Description
- The US Geological Survey, Water Resources, has a requirement for logging services in boreholes located in the vicinity of Los Angeles, California. The government intends to procure these services on a sole-source basis from Schlumberger Well Services, Englewood, CO. The techniques and logging tools that are required are unique to Schlumberger. These logging tools, specifically, are the Schlumberger Formation Micro-imager and the Schlumberger Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. Each hole is not to exceed 2,000' in depth. Logs for each site to include: Electrical induction, array, gross gamma, platform express, nuclear magnetic resonance, formation micro-imager spectral gamma, geochemical, and sonic. Data processing, mobilization, and all other related costs must also be included in the price. Services are required during November 2002. See Numbered Note 22.
