- Description
- Indefinite Quantity Contract for Roof Repairs, Various Locations, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing roofing materials (including roofing materials that may contain asbestos), removing lead containing paint and lead contaminated materials, removing and renewing flashings, gutters, down spouts, and deteriorated roofing members (e.g. sheathing, insulation, fascia boards, trims, cant strips, purlins, rafters, etc.), removing and reinstalling solar panels, work around and temporary removal and replacement of on-roof obstructions, repairing and renewing the following types of roofing: Asphalt Shingle Roofing, Wood Shake and Shingle Roofing, Preformed Metal Roofing, AggregateSurfaced Bituminous BuiltUp Roofing, SmoothSurfaced Bituminous BuiltUp Roofing, MineralSurfaced Bituminous BuiltUp Roofing, Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) Roofing, Modified Bitumen Sheet Roofing, and other incidental related work. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 23816 and the annual size standard is $12 million. Estimated cost: $2,000,000 maximum per year. The Government may award this contract to more than one contractor. The Government will give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the solicitation. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The proposed contract is limited to qualifying 8(a) firms in the Honolulu District of the Small Business Administration. The Government will not consider offers from 8(a) firms outside of the Honolulu District. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures, which require offerors to submit past performance and experience information and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Proposal receipt date is approximate.
