- C-Architect-Engineer Services solicitation #GS-10P-02-LTC-0075, Seattle, Washington, contact Patrick Brunner, GSA Contracting Specialist at 253-931-7155. This announcement corrects the stage 1 short list announcement that was posted. KMD (Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz, Inc.) was incorrectly listed in the original announcent as KDM. The General Services Administration (GSA) has completed the stage 1 Architectural-Engineering Design Excellence selection for the alteration, modernization, and addition to the William K. Nakamura US Courthouse, at 1010 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, Washington. The Lead Designers/Design Firms (in alphabetic order by firm name) are: John Meadows, BOORA/Cardwell, Portland OR; David Hobstetter, KDM (change to KMD), Seattle WA; Daniel O. Kelley, MGA Partners, Philadelphia, PA; Karl Stumpf, RTKL Associates Inc., Washington DC; Edward Weinstein, Weinstein Copeland, Seattle WA. The short listed firms have been requested to attend a networking session to be held on October 22, 2002 from 1pm to 3pm at the Jackson Federal Building, 915 Second Avenue, Seattle, WA, in the south auditorium (located on the forth floor). Each of the short listed firms is expected to make a brief presentation of potential consulting opportunities for the project. Businesses interested in knowing what potential consulting opportunities exist are welcomed and encouraged to attend the networking session. Registration isn't required, but is encouraged. Registration data (name of firm, contact information, individuals likely to attend, and areas of expertise) will be provided to the short listed firms. For STAGE II, the short-listed firms will be required to submit more detailed information indicating each member of the design team, including all outside consultants. The firm will be required to complete Standard Forms 254 and 255 that reflect the entire design team. Evaluation criteria will be those identified in GSA's Design Excellence Program Guide, specifically (1) Team Design Performance (50%), (2) Team Organization and Management Plan (30%), (3) Professional Qualifications (15%), and (4) Geographic Location (5%). Interview questions will be provided at a later date. The submittal due date, interview date and times, will be determined at a later date.
