Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male offenders in the Detroit, Michigan (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw Counties). Residential CCC seravices include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment including subsistence. TDAT services include individual assessments, individual counseling, and group counseling sessions. The services described shall be in accordance with the Fedreal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC) dated Authugt 2001 and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Services (TDAT) dated November 16, 1999. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract is anticipated. The minimum estimated number of inmate days for the one-year base period and option year one and two is 7,665, the maximum inmate days for the one year base period and option year one and two is 15,695. Estimated minimum is 8,030 inmate days for option year three and four, estimated maximum for option years three and four is 16,104 for CCC services. Estimated requirements for TDAT services is 2 intake assessments for the one-year base period and four option years, 720 unites 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 1,080 units for 30-minute group counseling sessions for the base period and the first option year. 768 units 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 1,152 units 30 minute group counseling sessions for the third option year; and 816 units 30-minute individual counseling sessions and 1,224 30-minute group counseling session for the fourth option year. The solicitation will be available on or aboaut November 12, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parites are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquiistion. The estimated closing date of the solicitations is January 12, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
