Description

This is a modification to announcement SP0600-02-00929 to clarify and include clauses as applicable in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following replaces previous notice in its entirety. THERE IS NO CHANGE TO THE RESPONSE DATE PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as follows: This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and no written solicitation will be issued. The closing date and location for receipt of proposals is 12 noon, 11 October 2002. The subject synopsis and solicitation, incorporated provisisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09 (FAC). The North AMerican Industry Classification SYstem Code (NAICS) is 325188. This announcement is for a one-time interim procurement for Hydrogen Peroxide Type 70, Stabilized, or Hydrogen peroxide aqueous solutions, stabilized with more than 60 percent hydrogen peroxide, commonly referred to as H202. At this time, only one source is certified to meet exact specifications of the Government's requirements for this product, therefore the Government contemplates award of a sole-source one time procurement to Solvay Interox,Inc. to include ISO container to be used for temporary storage under this contract on or about 11 October 2002.
