This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Rental ? rental of equipment needed for the sites below. All services and supplies (except paper) are to be included in this cost. 2. Lease ? lease of equipment needed for the sites identified below. Costs for services and costs for normal types of supplies (i.e. toner/staples) should be identified in proposal. We are looking at a five-year plan. 3. Purchase ? Purchase of the equipment needed for the sites identified below. Costs for services and costs for normal types of supplies should be identified in proposal. 4. Copy Management Plan ? This is a cost per copy type of service. Equipment, maintenance, and supplies except paper are to be included in this cost. We are looking at a five-year plan. The Federal Government is required to use recycled paper. All machines quoted must run efficiently utilizing recycled paper. A demonstration of equipment may be scheduled at either our site or the quoters place of business as part of the procurement process. o Each quote will need to address at a minimum the top three methods for each of the identified sites to be considered responsive. o Maintenance timeframes and response time to sites must be addressed in quote. Maintenance down time rate for each piece of equipment must be addressed for service not being received in a timely manner (this rate must be substantiated by a daily rate figure for each piece of equipment). Please provide service references for contracts for the past year include names and phone numbers. o Equipment listed below is a minimum requirement. All quotes must state model being suggested and provide separate specification sheets with all attachments for review with quote. o Please provide a price quote for both Analog and Digital machines. *Where indicated provide two price quotes (regular copier and color copier). Networking capabilities may be looked at but are not required. o All copiers have these features unless otherwise indicated: Automatic Document Feed, Bypass, Reduction/Enlargement 50-200 in 1% increments, 500 sheet paper tray, largest paper size 11 x 17, no color. o We have several machines that may be traded in. 1996 Canon 4050 copier. A. Location: Bearlodge Ranger District, Hwy 14 East, Sundance WY 82729. Number of copiers: 2 (two). Description/Features: 1. 50 cpm (estimated 15,000 copies per month), duplexing, 20 bin sorter/stapler or finisher, 3 different paper trays, at least 2000 page large capacity tray; B. Location: Black Hills National Forest, Supervisor?s Office, 25041 North Hwy 16, Custer SD 57730-7239. Number of copiers: 5 (five). Description/Features: 1. 15 cpm (estimated 1,050 copies per month); 2. 20 cpm (estimated 1,700 copies per month), duplexing; 3. 40 cpm (estimated 3,500 copies per month), duplexing, break out price for finisher ? size restrictions may not purchase finisher if does not fit in location needed; 4. 100 cpm (estimated 56,000 copies per month), duplexing, 20 bin sorter/stapler or finisher, 3 different paper trays, at least 2000 page large capacity tray; 5. 50 cpm (estimated 22,000 copies per month), duplexing, finisher, 3 different paper trays, at least 2000 page large capacity tray, *possible color. H. Location: Northern Hills Ranger District, 2014 N Main, Spearfish SD 57783. Number of copiers: 2 (two). Description/Features: 1. 20 cpm (estimated 1,700 copies per month), duplexing, *possible color; 2. 50 cpm (estimated 11,000 copies per month), duplexing, finisher, 3 different paper trays, at least 2000 page large capacity tray. SOLICITATION PROVISIONS FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
