- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as a supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number EA133C-03-RQ-0012 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 09, 9/30/02. This procurement action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code is 336611. A firm is a small business for the purpose of this requirement it's size standard is 1,000 employees. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) requires the services of a contractor to provide one (1) each hydraulic A-Frame for the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster in Charleston, SC in accordance with the attached technical specifications uploaded in connection to this synopsis. Contractor shall also provide three (3) days of Manufacturer's Technical Representative Service in Charleston, SC. Delivery is required approximately 1/15/2003. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to this provision. Bidders shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to this provision.
