Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-personal services issued by 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE. This document was prepared in accordance with the format in FAR part 12, FAC 2001-09, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is a request for quotations, A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for services for 1. Preventative Maintenance on 4 each 225 KVA SUPS units, 2. Preventative Maintenance on 520 sealed cell batteries, 3. Contractor furnished material (Spare Parts), 4. Contractor Furnished Travel, and 5. Initial Inspection Inventory. The SUPS units are by PowerWare. Two are model number 80 (serial number ES453ZBA03), and the other 2 are model number 225 (serial number ETO13ZXX11). The batteries are under 2 years old and are in great condition. 40 of the batteries are by Dynasty and the model number is UPS12-270FR. The other 480 batteries are by Yuasa and the model number is DD85-13. The NAICS Code is 811212; this solicitation is issued as 100 percent small business set-aside. SBA Size Standard is $18 million. Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square Bldg 40, Offutt AFB 68113 by 18 October, 2002 at 4:30 pm CST. Facsimile copies may be submitted to (402) 232-6571. Direct any questions to Tiffany Breske via email or facsimile. COLLECT CALLS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED. Due to technical problems, the posting date does not match the solicitation issue date, the posting date herein takes precedence. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database by 18 October at 4:30 pm CST will make a bidder ineligible for award. SF 1449 is attached for use in submitting quotes or offers - 52..212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications must be completed and submitted with all non-GSA quotes or offers. GSA quotes or offers must include the GSA schedule number and Tax ID Number (TIN). NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Quotes must be valid for at least 30 days.
