Description: The project consists of development of a new trailhead parking facility, construction of 750' of trail from the new parking area to the existing trail, and obliteration of 550' of existing trail from the existing trailhead, including site signing and stock handling facilities. The project is located on the Salmon River RD. Quoters are encouraged to view the site before winter, as this project will be advertised during the winter months. From Grangeville, Idaho, take SH 13 to FH 17 (Mount Idaho Grade) to FDR 221 at MP 1.0, then south on FDR 221 to FDR 444 at MP 30. Turn east on FDR 444 for approximately 13 miles to the trailhead. The estimated price for this work is between $25,000 and $100,000.
