Description
This amendment is to clarify the requirement for RFQ F23606-03-Q-0001 Vertical Carousel. Question - What brand & type of vertical carousels are these: i.e. Remstar 250?s, White 2400?s, etc.? Answer - We have 5 Whites Model #TD1060 (3ea.) ED1060 (1ea) TF0880-112 (1ea.), and two Remstars Model#'s SYS-182-1116.25-19 Question - How tall are they? Answer - All units are approx 10' high Question - Will the units be empty of all materials? Answer - Units will be empty Question - Is the current tear down area free of obstacles: i.e. is their a drop ceiling around the units, water sprinkler heads in the way, any electrical conduit dropped down & attached to the units, work office modules, desks, etc. in the way? Same question for the new location. Answer - The tear down area will be free of obstructions, but there is electrical conduit and lighting about 1' form the top of the units. Except for the Rem-Stars, they will have to be completely disassembled to be moved Question - If the units are over 9? tall, is there sufficient area around them for equipment such as a forklift truck and/or a scissors lift? Same question for the new location. Answer - No. Units are to tall to be forked from facility. Question - Are the units stand alone controlled, or tied to some form of a host computer? Answer - The units are stand-alone Question - How far away are the two locations: i.e. a few hundred feet in the same building where a push cart is all that is needed to transfer the dismantled components, or far enough away that we would have to supply a truck to move these components? Answer - Distance from old to new location is approx 300 yards. Question - Are the two locations both on the first floor, with reasonably easy cart access to their loading docks? Answer - Both locations are on the first floor, both have access to loading locks. Question - Is their sufficient clear ceiling height, and electrical power available at the new site?
