Description
The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to complete construction work under Project PQWY 03-4004, CNO3 Repair Family Housing Phase 3, at McChord AFB Washington. Work includes but is not limited to the complete interior renovation of 17 duplexes (34 units) (10 Type 2 Units and 24 Type 4 Units) and partial renovation of 2 detached carport buildings (8 units). Replace entire electrical system and heating systems (electric base boards with forced air fans). New vinyl siding, gutters and downspouts as well as new paint on exposed exterior wood. Replace gypsum wallboard in the interior along with windows, plumbing fixtures and bath fixtures. The magnitude of the construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The current NAICS is 236118. The small business size standard for the NAICS is annual revenue of $28,500,00.00 over three years. In conformance with FAR 19.1300 this acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of HUBZone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm, and (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on the responses received to this notice, the Contracting Officer will make a determination. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition from HUBZone certified firms, the acquisition will be conducted using full and open competition. The period of performance will be 420 calendar days and will be divided into two phases. This solicitation will only be available via www.eps.gov. Issuance of the solicitation will be on or about 19 November 2002 with a closing date of on or about 20 December 2002.. Any and all amendments to the solicitation will be posted only on the Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov.
