Description

NA The work consists of deep draft hopper dredging approximately 1,457,000 cubic yards, comprised of maintenance material, to a required depth of 49 feet below Mean Low Tide, 2 feet of allowable overdepth, and a width of 800 feet. Material will be deposited off shore. There will be no levee work. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Stand ard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 9.1%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.0%; Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 2.5%; Service-Disabled Vet eran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 185. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation at the following address: http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
