- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a Non-Personal Service contract for Orthopedic Services. Licensed Orthopedist, being professional in nature, shall be provided in the method as considered normal by community standards. The contractor will be required to conduct in-house evaluations and provide treatment recommendations Health Service Administrator at the Federal Prison Cumberland Maryland. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offer or determined to be the best interest of the government, price and price related factors considered. Services will be required during the normal work week, and estimated two (2) sessions per month ( 1 session = 4 hours), for an estimated twenty-four (24) sessions per year. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Health Care Requirements contract to the responsible offer or, meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work, the contract will run from date of award through September 30, 2003, with the Government unilateral right to exercise (4) four option years. This solicitation will be available on or after August 12, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encourage to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is September 15, 2002.
