November 7, 2002 GSA Schedules and More Time: 8:30 a.m. registration -- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon program 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. -- individual sessions with speaker, by appointment Location: Minnesota State University Moorhead, Center for Business, Room 103, Moorhead, MN. Description: This seminar is designed for companies interested in entering or expanding their business in the Federal Government marketplace and will provide important background regarding the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Schedule program and why it is such a lucrative selling tool for contractors. Companies will learn about: -Resources available that can assist you in becoming a successful GSA Schedule contractor -GSA proposal "process" -Common mistakes and pitfalls of preparing a GSA proposal -"10 steps" of vendor selection and contract award -Post-award vendor responsibilities -Marketing tips and realities of selling to the government -Insight on how a GSA Schedule can be leveraged to create opportunities in State government -GSA on-line resources and competitive information about specific industries. Following this seminar, there will be an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the instructor to address your specific GSA Schedule proposal and/or GSA marketing questions or needs. Instructor, John Kilian, is the Director of Gtracts, a fee-based division of Minnesota Project Innovation, (MPI) Inc., which assists businesses in securing government contracts with market research, telemarketing and sales.
